About Become a CASA Volunteer!

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) give a voice to abused and neglected children. CASA's act as the "eyes and the ears" for the Judge, so the Judge can make informed decisions in the best interest of the child. A CASA volunteer joins a case as a neutral third party, participates in all hearings and meetings, collects as much information about the child as possible, shares their findings with the Judge and the parties through oral and written reports, makes recommendations to the court, provides consistency and mentorship, and advocates for a child’s best interests in order to get them to a safe and permanent home as soon as possible.
