About National Letter Carriers Food Drive (NLFD)

Residents in the greater Lansing area will be placing grocery bags containing non-perishable food items by their mail boxes for event drivers to pick-up. In turn, the drivers will take the food items to one of the following locations for sorting:

· Delta Post Office
· Clark Crossings
· South West Carriers Annex
· Okemos Post Office

To sign up, call 517.203.5022 or email p.hemingway@micauw.org with your preference to serve as a sorter or driver, which location(s) you wish to lend a hand, and which time slot you want to volunteer. If you choose to volunteer as a driver, there is no reimbursement for gas. However, there will be refreshments available for all volunteers at the drop-off locations.
