About Service Learning Activity Volunteer

Earn your Service Learning hours by spending time with the elderly and making a difference. Our residents/clients enjoy being active with a variety of activities, but may need extra help from you.

Assist a resident/client by recording their life story.
Play bingo
Assist staff with physical games
Bake
Garden
Paint fingernails
Arts and crafts
Play cards
Read short stories
Friendly visitor
Puzzles

Volunteers enrich the lives of elders who are lonely, bored or feel helpless. It is our goal to make sure our elders do not suffer from these plaques by providing an environment that includes loving companionship, daily life with variety and spontaneity interactions, and being able to choose from a variety of activities.

Application Process

Call and make an appointment to meet with Cathy. Application and Criminal Background Check will need to be filled out. Attend an orientation before volunteering.
