Tree/Shrub Planting at Peace Valley Park
Hosted by: Bucks County Conservation District
About Tree/Shrub Planting at Peace Valley Park

Help plant 200 native saplings, shrubs and wildflowers along and above a section of recently repaired shoreline of Lake Galena. Native plants improve the quality of our lakes and streams by protecting against property damage and water quality impacts from shoreline erosion, filtering excess nutrients and pollutants from storm runoff, and providing important habitat for wildlife.
Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Aqua PA and Pa DEP have supplied funding for the plants. Now, we need your help to get them in the ground! We know you love Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena. Help us make them even better!
We need volunteers to help with:
