About STEAMulating Young Minds Imagination (SYMI) Project
BOYS, Inc. STEAMulating Young Minds Imagination (SYMI) Project program(s) practice project-based learning so learning comes alive. Current scholars learn by building, creating, investigating, analyzing, designing, and engineering. Learning by doing provides a more valuable, hands-on reason to learn as well as the opportunity to apply the acquired skill and knowledge in meaningful ways.
SYMI After School Program:
The SYMI After School Program provides a warm, caring, and vibrant environment beyond school hours where scholars have the opportunity to play with school friends and get help with completing their homework before the family sits down to dinner.
Once homework is out of the way, scholars will engage in hands-on activities that incorporate real-life skills that are designed to inspire creative thinking, teamwork, social skills, and problem-solving for the 21st century using things like LEGO® bricks and K'NEX®.
