About After-School Instructor

Our vision is simple: give every child the opportunity to explore technology at a young age.

If you are passionate about technology, and have an aptitude for it, we want to bring you to a local elementary to instruct and support children as they explore technology, ranging from LEGO Robotics to SCRATCH programming.

We will provide all the necessary training, material, and equipment. If you've never worked with children before but have a desire to give back to your community and learn the fundamentals of teaching, we'll provide you with the necessary coaching and training.

Qualifications:
- an aptitude for technology; you don't need to know how to code, but you must show an appetite to learn and have several years of experience using PCs beyond just the basics.
- availability to work afternoon hours from 12 to 5:30 p.m., at least 3 out of 5 business days per week
- Pursuing or obtained an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, teaching, or related field is desired.

This position is about making a fundamental difference in the lives of students. We'll provide a stipend, recognize you in the community, and if you're sponsored by your company, we also offer a company sponsorship recognition package (letters to parents, company labels on laptops/kits, etc).
