Head For A Cure at CycleBar

Sponsor my ride and help me end head and neck cancer

Please help me Head For a Cure by sponsoring team Brandon's Mom ride during the April 16, 2016 CycleBar Cyclethon. I don't want any other family to have to watch their "baby," spouse, parent, sibling, friend die of head and neck cancer. Brandon is my second baby and oldest son. He lived life to the fullest both before and after being diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the head and neck two weeks before his 36th birthday.

My husband and I, Brandon’s parents, launched the Brandon C. Gromada Head & Neck Cancer Foundation the day after his June 2, 2012 death. As healthcare professionals, we know only research can lead to the cures that will eliminate head and neck cancers. Brandon’s Foundation has awarded two research grants for innovative head and neck cancer projects each year since 2014. This June we hope to award two more grants. Help us fund more of these vital head and neck cancer research projects and fund them at a higher rate. Help us NOW to Head For A Cure!

The mission of the Brandon C. Gromada Head & Neck Cancer Foundation is to increase public awareness of head and neck cancers, and raise funds for research seeking cures for these types of cancer.

The goals of the Brandon C. Gromada Head & Neck Cancer Foundation are to:
1. Increase awareness of head and neck cancers
2. Raise funds for innovative research that will find a cure for such cancers, particularly poorly differentiated squamous cell cancer (SCC), which is the type that affected Brandon.

Brandon's Foundation has awarded two head and neck cancer research grants per year since 2014. In the future, the Foundation hopes to increase both the number of and amounts for such research grants.

The Brandon C. Gromada Head & Neck Cancer Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and...
