The Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire (BIANH) is the premiere organization assisting survivors and family caregivers. The mission has always been the same: to create a better future through brain injury prevention, education, advocacy, and support.
There are over 12,000 brain injuries a year in NH. This number has doubled from 10 years ago. Due to life-saving techniques of modern medicine, more and more individuals are surviving. Survivors and their families are left to struggle with the outcomes. An overwhelming challenge is trying to navigate the system for treatment options, rehabilitation, where to live, and financing the care. BIANH is like a GPS for the Survivor and family. BIANH is the one source that can show the way to the best options possible.
