About Kitchen Assistance

Bracken's Kitchen has reached new levels and we are now preparing around 30,000 meals a week and hope to continue to grow that number this year. We need your help prepping fruits, veggies, meats, and other tasks around the kitchen! With the mass amounts of meals being prepared daily, we need as many hands on deck as we can get to help ensure we continue to meet the needs in our community!


Kitchen Assistance Duties:
Duties include prepping food, cutting vegetables and meats, cooking, packaging meals, cleaning kitchen equipment, lifting and sorting and other minimal tasks. Our primary focus is preparing nutritious meals, however, we also need assistance cleaning kitchen equipment and preparing for upcoming events, as such, volunteers may be placed in other areas in the facility when the need arises.
