About Academic Mentors
Daily opportunities to engage with our youth by mentoring and tutoring them in academic studies! Come be a part of supporting our Bandera youth, ages 6-18, in academic success for the future!
Application Process
Complete our Volunteer Application available online (must be over 18), or from our Unit Directors @ Alkek Elementary, Hill Country Elementary, and our Teen Center.
We need volunteers to help with:
Math Mentor/Tutor
Work with our elementary youth on homework math assignments
Reading Mentor/Tutor
Work with our elementary youth on improving reading skills; read to the youth in group settings.
