About Volunteer at a Free Book Fair - Pillow elementary (Austin ISD)

Volunteers can choose between the morning and the afternoon shift (7:45 am - 11 am) and (10:55 am - 2 pm).

Volunteers assist with setting up tables, managing book stations, helping students select books, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Volunteers will be assigned a table of books and will restock and change out books as needed.

Please wear a comfortable top and pants, and closed toed shoes.

Please bring your ID (Drivers license) to show the front desk and get your volunteer badge when you walk in.

The bulk of the work is the set-up and tear down. We will have picture books, readers in both fiction and nonfiction, chapter books in fiction and nonfiction, and graphic novels. Students come in 15/20 minute increments to pick out their free book with their class.
