About The Little Haiti Farmers Market
The Little Haiti Farmers Market launched on Saturday, January 7, 2012, with tremendous success and community support. The market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Toussaint Louverture Elementary School in Miami. The Little Haiti Farmers Market is a weekly not-for-profit community event where vendors gather to sell affordable, fresh, and locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables foods, prepared foods and Haitian specialty goods directly to consumers. Managed by Bochika, the Little Haiti Farmers Market is part of the Make Healthy Happen Miami campaign that is working to transform Miami’s food deserts and food swamps into healthy, sustainable food systems.
