About Help fill a Blessing Box.

"Anonymous Angels" are what the Blessing Box Foundation calls the volunteers who fight hunger by helping us keep a Blessing Box full near them. It's easy! Just grab some pantry items and put them in a Blessing Box. If you have some hotel size hygiene or feminine care supplies you are not using, those are always welcome additions. Any size donation helps! If people are at the box they will generally step aside until you fill it. You can wait until they have made a selection, then place your things inside. Be sure to practice social distancing, wear gloves and a mask if you have them, and make sure the food is sanitary and has not expired. You can take food to a box any time it's convenient 24/7. If you do help, we'd love knowing who you are, just head to our Blessing Box Angels Facebook group and share, but if you prefer, you can remain one of our Anonymous Angels instead. Blessing Boxes are located at: the First Congregational Church on Stockdale Highway at Real Road, the Bakersfield Family Church at 106 Wilson Avenue in Oildale, and the Sleepy Baby Box Foundation Parent Education Center at 3803 Union Avenue, four blocks north of 34th Street.
