About The Great Zoo Boo

The Great Zoo Boo is coming to transform Binder Park Zoo into a festive Halloween celebration! This community event has become one of the largest Halloween attractions in the area, offering families a fun and safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Trick-Or-Treat trail, the carnival games, Haunted Africa, black-light mini golf, assist the entertainment staff, assist with hayride, and more!

Zoo Boo runs from October 19 - October 30. It is not open on Mondays or Tuesdays.
Wednesday - Friday hours for volunteers: 4:30 - 8:30.
Saturday and Sunday hours for volunteers 12:30 - 5 or 4:30 - 8:30. (Volunteers can help for the entire shift of 12:30 - 8:30, if they choose)
Haunted Africa will begin at dusk on Fridays and Saturdays only, and runs until 11:00.

Volunteers 16 years of age or older are preferred. Volunteers between the ages of 10 and 15 may volunteer, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
