About BontebOktoberFest
Volunteer to help the evening of October 11th at our BontebOktoberFest. There are many places we need volunteers – registration, pouring, helping with food, VIP and auction tent, picking up bottles and more! We appreciate your flexibility with placement. Must be at least 21 years of age to volunteer or participate in this event.
We understand you may have an interest in volunteering in a specific area. We ask that you are flexible in your location as we may need to move people around.
Application Process
Complete our volunteer application and background check. The application may be printed off of our website at www.binderparkzoo.org/volunteer. Background checks will be completed separately. Please contact the volunteer coordinator to complete this process.
We need volunteers to help with:
Runner
Runner will assist zoo staff in stocking the brewers tables during the event.
Registration Table
Registration table volunteer will help guest get there tasting glass and drink tickets.
Z. O. & O. Railroad
Assist zoo staff in monitoring the train tracks as the train returns to the station and other tasks as needed.
Carousel Derby
Assist staff in getting guest interested in participating in each Carousel Derby Heat.
There are several heat during the night with the first one starting at 7:00 pm.
Runner
Runner will assist zoo staff in stocking the brewers tables during the event.
Registration Table
Registration table volunteer will help guest get there tasting glass and drink tickets.
