About Foster Care Program Assistant

Fostering is the foundation for rescuing all animals. Without foster parents, our rescue efforts would suffer. This position will assist Big Hands Little Paws’ team in expanding our foster program, updating our database and coordinating the actual fosters. You will manage the application process and conduct home visits of potential foster parents, keep track of the animals going in and out of the foster program and help in signing-up new foster parents.

This is a very rewarding volunteer opportunity. You get to have a hands-on role in seeing the animals from rescue to foster to adoption. We ask for a 3-month commitment.
