Become a Big!

Becoming a Big is easy, fun, and meaningful. As a Big, you’ll spend just a few hours each month with your Little, sharing activities you already enjoy—whether it’s shooting hoops, exploring the library, or trying out new recipes. It’s a small commitment that can have a lasting impact, helping ignite the power and potential in young people.

While our program changes lives, the need for mentors continues to grow. We currently serve about 800 youth in Central Texas, but more than 200 young people are still waiting to be matched with a Big. We’re always looking for volunteers to step up as positive role models and help support the next generation. Now is the perfect time to get involved!

Application Process

To be a Big, you must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, access to reliable transportation and be willing to commit to a minimum one year volunteer experience. Background check required.
