About Join an Event Committee!

VOLUNTEER AS AN EVENTS COMMITTEE MEMBER!
Committees:

Celebrity Golf Tournament - July 2021
The Celebrity Golf Tournament Committee oversees the operations (Planning and Budgeting, Tournament Logistics, Premiums and Prizes, Volunteers, Team scheduling), and promotion of the event (print and electronic media, advertising, materials). This committee is largely comprised of persons from the Big Sky Community, with representation from a major sponsor, Big Sky Resort, and typically an honorary celebrity committee member.

BBBS' Two-Fly Challenge August 2021
BBBS of Big Sky Country is pivoting in a new fundraising direction that we think will reflect the character of our our Livingston community by creating a brand new event, The Two-Fly Challenge. This event will allow guests and volunteer guides to fish the famed rivers surrounding Park and Gallatin counties. The first night will include a meet and greet barbecue. Day two will consist of a day fishing on the rivers followed by a Perfect Pairings celebration dinner at the historic Livingston depot.

The Big Event - September 2021
Be part of one of BBBS of Big Sky Country’s premier events, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Event at the Armory Hotel. This fun and unique Big Event will feature dinner, exciting live and silent auctions, signature drinks, entertainment, and more. Come learn about our program, support kids in southwest Montana, and let the good times roll! Whether attending with friends or co-workers, this is a festive opportunity to generate positive exposure for your business. As a committee member you will help with silent and live auction items, theme, decor, marketing and more.

Bowl for Kids' Sake - October 2021
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Big Sky Country’s largest fundraiser, making up about 18% of the organization’s annual operating revenue. The pledge campaign begins in July with a culminating bowling event taking place in October. The purpose of the Bowl for Kids’ Sake Committee is to build relationships with businesses and engage individuals in our community in raising pledges for the organization, culminating in an exciting bowling event that engages the community in the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission.
