About Fall Volunteer & Mentor Orientation

Want to impact the community? Do you like to have fun? We need you at the Boys and Girls Club of Starkville! We are currently looking for Volunteers and Mentors with the following requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must complete a Volunteer/Mentor Application
Must undergo and pass a Background Check
Must complete volunteer/mentor orientation.
Must volunteer/mentor for at least an hour.
Must have a positive attitude, be responsible and respectful, and be willing to have fun!

Application Process

All volunteers and mentors must complete and submit a volunteer or mentor application and a Background Check Release form. Volunteers and mentors must undergo and pass a Background Check. The processing fee for a Background Check is $10. Background Checks take 48 hours for results to be received. After results are received, the Volunteer/Mentor Coordinator will contact individuals to RSVP for Fall Orientation.
