About Social Media Support Volunteer

We are seeking a Social Media Support Volunteer to supplement the efforts of the Marketing team. Berkeley Humane maintains an active presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and is need of one or two volunteers to assist with the creation and posting of social media material--mostly photo albums and information about our adoptable animals.

High-quality images of animals have been tied to increased adoptions and donations throughout the animal welfare field, and posting compelling images, graphics, and stories to our Social Media networks helps Berkeley Humane reach a larger audience of potential adopters and donors. Active engagement on Social Media platforms and growth of our presence is key to successful execution of our Marketing Strategic Plan for 2014.

2-5 hours per week, for at least 6-months.
