About Impact A Life! Become a One-to-One mentor

Become a one-to-one mentor to a child, ages 6 - 15 years of age, most often from a single parent or guardian headed households. Through casual shared activities, a mentor provides caring adult support, opening up opportunities to help expand and shape a child's potential, helping them to navigate the developmental challenges of life by helping them make better choices. Mentors are needed to serve as community-based volunteers seeing a child 2 -3 times a month for a period of one year or site-based volunteers in partnership schools meeting with a child one a week during their lunch time for a full academic year. Mentors report that their time is richly rewarding as they invest in the future of the child they mentor.
