About Call Center/Office Volunteer Training

We will be doing a volunteer training on Tuesday, Aug 6th at 9:00-11:00 am. We are looking for volunteers to help during our upcoming AARP campaign. We will be focusing on taking incoming calls, making outbound calls, data entry, and other clerical aspects. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in helping so we will know how to plan.

Light refreshments will be provided during the training.


The following is an example of the training we will be doing:


☐ Mailer Prep

Folding letters, stuffing and sealing envelopes


☐ Incoming Calls

Answering incoming calls, completing screening sheets, and assisting clients with benefits applications


☐ Outbound Calls

Returning voicemails,completing screening sheets, and assisting in follow up calls


☐ Data Entry

Filling in online forms, spreadsheets and benefits applications
