About Public Reading Space Volunteer

Help promote Imagination Library and reading in your community!

*Provide children with positive reading experiences
*Promote Imagination Library titles and potentially increase interest in the books being delivered to homes
*Promote the Battle Creek Community Literacy Collaborative and United Way
*Model read aloud habit to adults
*Potentially connect parents and/or guardians with information about literacy and literacy events in the community

July 8, 2017 (this is a second Saturday, but July 1 is a holiday weekend)
August 4, 2017
September 1, 2017
Etc. (this will be a recurring event on the first Saturday of every month)

11am–4pm: one hour shifts (11am-12noon; 12noon-1pm; 1pm-2pm; 2pm-3pm; 3pm-4pm)

*Up to two people could volunteer for each one hour shift
