Hosted by: Battery Dance
Battery Dance's 2018 Battery Dance Festival is quickly approaching! The festival is August 11-17 at Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park in downtown Manhattan with a Closing performance at The Schimmel Center on August 18. It is the longest running public dance festival in New York City and features dance companies from around the world. We are expecting a large turnout and a beautiful week of dance!
Volunteers are needed at the festival to help with daily production set-up, host the entrance tables, greet audience members and hand-out playbills. In addition, volunteers are needed to help with activities related to our closing event on August 20. If you are interested in helping out, please let us know. Benefits include free dance performances in a beautiful park, gaining experience in dance production, taking part in the downtown dance community and making new friends and connections!
