About Ushering

Joining the Barre Opera House Usher Corps is a great way to support Central Vermont’s premier performing arts center and an opportunity to see wonderful shows at no cost.

Trainings are offered twice a year. Ushers are expected to arrive 60 minutes prior to curtain time to prepare for shows and to receive assignments, which include such jobs as passing out programs, taking tickets, showing patrons to their seats, and helping with concessions.
