If you and one other professional student want to teach a lesson on any topic you feel would be beneficial for student to hear-- this is how you can do it!

We can arrange a time and classroom for you to teach in. You can arrange the lesson and slide show.

Topics can include: hygiene, sexual education, nutrition, money management, heroin addiction, smoking prevention/cessation, career options, cooking, cultural adaptation, geography, conflict management, friendship, gang violence, alcohol and it's risks, pornography.

A graduate student volunteer can also put together any time of educational group activity that they think would be advantageous.

There are two programs offered at UB: "Tar Wars" and "Heart Smart" that can give you materials and pre-made presentation about Smoking Cessation and Heart Health, respectively.

Application Process

1. Synthesize Presentation/Lesson/Activity
2. Briefly email why you feel this would be helpful and list availability (during school hours 8am-5pm).
