About Individual Volunteering

Individual volunteering at ASH is a fulfilling and uniquely wonderful experience. While most of our volunteers are students in transition, we have many volunteers who have been volunteering here for decades. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for current or soon to be med students or those who are simply looking to give back to the community a few per month.

The current volunteer needs are mostly Monday-Friday between 9am-3pm during day time classes. This role assists hospital staff during educational rehabilitation classes which range from yoga and art to music and movement. Teaching experience is not required- just patience and a willing heart.

We are always seeking creative professionals who want to volunteer their incredible talents here with patients. So if you have knowledge about nutrition or tax filing or you just have the desire to volunteer - we would to love to connect with you!
