About TRADESY MARKETING EXPERT

Art Aids Art seeks a Tradesy.com marketing volunteer interested in having a meaningful impact on a small, fast growing nonprofit organization. Art Aids Art promotes education, health and sustainable economic development, working primarily with South African women and children impacted by poverty and/or HIV/AIDS. We are the FIRST American organization to open an art and education center in Cape Town's largest township, Khayelitsha. We hare preparing to launch a Tradesy marketing program in order to diversify the income streams supporting our community programs. We are looking for someone -- familiar with Tradesy's best marketing practices, operating system and terminology -- who can utilize the site in our online fundraising campaign to sell goods that have been donated to us for fundraising purposes. The volunteer must be willing to dedicate approximately 3 hours a week to this project (which might vary week to week), which will include researching competitive prices for items, creating compelling descriptions, posting and reposting listings, and tracking success. We will handle all photography and shipping of items, so this is a 100% digital job that can be done according to your hours. We would very much like to work with someone on a long term basis, if possible. This is an unpaid voluntary position, but the reward of changing lives is South Africa is powerful.
