The Arc is excited to announce that it will host the PWS-Florida Chapter's Spring 2024 Meeting at its main campus across from Santa Fe College on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (registration from 8:30- 9 a.m.). This event will bring together people with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), their parents and family members, PWS advocates, families looking to secure a spot for a loved one with PWS in The Arc's PWS Program in Gainesville, Alachua County and members of the Arc of Alachua County's Leadership Team for a one-day conference on Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Among the day's highlights will be a tour of The Arc's Main Campus, a tour of our Group Homes dedicated to people with PWS, a presentation from UF-Health's Dr. Jennifer Miller and Nutritionist Michael Tan on 'Best Nutrition Practices & Habits for People with PWS,' and a Carnival at the end of the day.

The Arc is looking for generous sponsors and partners to offset the cost of the event with a 'Friend of The Arc' event sponsorship of $500.
