About Spring Concert - A tour of Italy! Sunday, May 17th
Annasemble and the Italians!
This concert focuses on the Italian music through the ages and music genres. Music by composers Monteverdi and Galilei as well as a double cello concerto by Vivaldi. Then we move on and find ourselves with folk music and the famous songs O Sole Mio and Torne a Surriento as well as Bella Ciao - -an adopted folk song. We will get a feel of the Italian atmosphere right here in Gainesville. Our director was fortunate to visit Italy and in the streets one can feel the historic atmosphere in the streets and also in the music.
Application Process
Show up! Starts at 4pm, Plantation Hall in Haile Plantation 5100 SW 91st street.
