About Angels' Place Volunteers
Angels’ Place welcomes volunteers — there are many ways to serve at one of our three centers! Please contact us to learn more about how your talents will be put to good use as you join forces with other Pittsburgh area service-oriented individuals in meaningful service.

To apply for either an individual or group volunteer opportunity, please download the application from the link below and print it. Once completed, you can email the application to Angels’ Place, mail it to 2615 Norwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15214, or fax it to 412.321.0112. Upon receiving your application we will contact you shortly thereafter.
We need volunteers to help with:
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
--Calling all tutors, teachers, fundraisers, gardeners, golfers, handypersons, designers, and anyone with love to share! Whether you are one of the above by profession or experience or just looking to try something new, we need your help.
--Angels’ Place has many, many opportunities for you at our Swissvale, Brookline, or North Side Centers or even from the comfort of your favorite sofa at home.
--You can be a mentor and role model for one of our incredible student parents. You can help tutor or teach one of our avid learners, a big one or a little one. You can help organize a truly one-of-a-kind special event and meet many of Pittsburgh's other service-oriented dynamos.
--You can help organize a special event that’s truly special.
--Angels’ Place has many, many opportunities for you at our Swissvale, Brookline, or North Side Centers or even from the comfort of your favorite sofa at home.
--You can be a mentor and role model for one of our incredible student parents. You can help tutor or teach one of our avid learners, a big one or a little one. You can help organize a truly one-of-a-kind special event and meet many of Pittsburgh's other service-oriented dynamos.

Group Volunteer Opportunities
Does your school, church or organization raise funds for charity? By featuring Angels’ Place as the beneficiary, money or contributed items it raises can help make available much-needed services to families here. Please contact the Program Director at one of our Centers if your group would like to benefit Angels’ Place by holding on of these (or a different) fundraiser:
--Car Wash
--Holiday Flower Sale: sell flowers around Easter, Mother's Day or Valentine’s Day and donate the proceeds to Angels’ Place.
--Kisses from Kids: Have your group raise money for Angels’ Place children’s program at a church, grocery store, sporting event, movie theater, etc. and thank donors with chocolate kisses.
--Dress Down Day: arrange with a company or school to allow employees or students to dress casually for a day in exchange for a small donation to Angels’ Place.
--Dime Wars: have a contest to see who can collect the most dimes and then donate the dimes to Angels’ Place at the end of the competition.
--Baby Shower: host a baby shower to which guests bring items that the youngest children at Angels’ Place can use – baby food, bibs, baby wipes, and diapers (especially sizes 3, 4, and 5).
--Donuts for Diapers: ask members to make a donation in order to enjoy a treat after a meeting or church service.
--Scavenger Hunt: Let neighbors know in advance that group members will be going door-to-door to collect contributions of children’s clothing and diapers, non-perishable food items, paper products, and money.
--Brainstorm locations for collection bins labeled for donations of large size diapers, baby wipes, and paper products.
