Anderson Center for Autism provides educational, residential, clinical, consultation, life skills, and support services to children and adults on the autism spectrum and their families. The agency operates a children’s residential program in Staatsburg, NY serving approximately 130 students and an adult program with 24 locations in the Hudson Valley, NY serving 105 adults. Student educational services mirror New York State curriculum and includes clinical services (OT, PT, Speech), discrete trial, prevocational, vocational, and transition services for children and teens with a primary diagnosis of autism and high levels of care needs. Student residential services focus on fostering self-advocacy and personal independence. The Adult program provides residential, clinical, and life skills training for adults age 21 and over. Anderson Consulting offers community based training, intervention assistance, environmental design, and other expertise to school districts, businesses, and agencies that work with individuals on the spectrum.
