About Fiberworks Volunteer
This program provides refugee and immigrant women a place to practice sewing and fiber arts skills, as well as practice and improve their English. Volunteers are needed to help the women with their projects, speak to them in English & help them with their English, provide childcare during the program and help out with craft fairs that Fiberworks participants attend.
Fiberworks meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 12 pm - 3pm, and Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm.
Application Process
Volunteers must complete an online application, background check (if over 18), and attend an orientation. Please visit our website for more information.
