About THE EPICUREAN HEALT FAIR

The Asthma League and Antiguan Federation of Medical Students (AFMS) in collaboration with various organizations in AUA are holding a health fair at the Epicurean supermarket parking lot on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 10am to 2pm. This health fair is to advocate for diabetes awareness in the month of November. We have invited the Diabetes Association of Antigua to join us to help promote this event and to present information on Diabetes. We are expecting around 200-300 people at this event and are working on accommodating this amount. We are going to be setting up various booths for participants including; health history, physical assessment (glucose, cholesterol, BP, weight, and RR), information on diabetes, PschSIG, WISE program survey and Sickle Cell Anaemia Survey.
The bus will depart campus to the Epicurean supermarket at 9:30am and 9:45am and will return from Epicurean at 2:15pm

VOLUNTEERS ARE REMINDED TO BE PROFESSIONALLY DRESSED AND WEARING WHITE COATS WITH THE AUA INSIGNIA. REMEMBER TO BRING ALONG YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CUFF, PEN AND CLIPBOARD.
