About The AUA RohrMan - An exciting volunteer opportunity!

This annual AUA sponsored Triathlon takes place on February 18, 2017. The main events are an Olympic Distance Triathlon, a Sprint Triathlon, a Kid’s Triathlon, a 5K run/walk, and a 1 mile run/walk; essentially something for everyone. More details at: http://www.antiguatinmantriathlon.com/
For those not inclined to compete, we need volunteers to help coordinate the races, man water stops and provide road safety for the athletes. To register as a volunteer PLEASE CHOOSE ONE TASK from the list provided (click view more), note that if you do not choose a task your volunteer hours may not be recorded.
TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS:
The first bus will pick up along the AUA bus route from 4:30AM to transport the AM shift . The second bus will pick up along the AUA bus route from 10AM to transport the PM shift. Once the event concludes, the bus will return you to your housing stop.
NB: If you opt to make your own transportation arrangements, please ensure you get there before your shift starts.

Beach Set up

Set up tables, chairs, barriers, tents, signs etc. Clean garbage, rake beach, set caution tape. Offload and pack water, food, speakers, etc

Ensure all athletes check in and are marked with their numbers using a permanent marker on both arms and legs and they receive swim caps, and electronic timing chips. Prepare check lists for each race, enforce cut offs, handout race numbers/t-shirts/etc. as necessary
