About Breast Friends and Antigua Lions Club Breast Cancer Screening
For the sixth consecutive year, the Antigua Lion’s Club will be partnering with the cancer awareness and support group Breast Friends, to offer a free breast cancer screening clinic.
This year, the AUA student’s Oncology Interest Student Group is partnering with the Lion’s Club and Breast Friends to offer this free screening which takes place tomorrow Saturday October 31st at the Lion’s Den from 8:30am to 1pm.
Twenty (20) student volunteers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to gain experience in clinical breast examination. Dr. Swaminathan will be responsible for supervising the volunteers at the event.
Students are expected to be professionally dressed (and wearing their white coats); and should bring along their blood pressure cuff, clipboard and pen.
All interested volunteers are expected to follow the link below to sign up as a student volunteer AND attend a 45 minute training session at 12noon in SGT 24
