About Autism Awareness Town Hall Meeting
There is a need for 2 volunteers to assist at the Autism Awareness Townhall. The event takes place on Thursday 21st and begins at 1:30pm but volunteers will need to be on-site at 1:00pm.
Date : Thursday 21 April
Event time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm
Location : Multi-purpose Cultural & Exhibition Centre.
Panel to include:
Moderator: Dr. Rick Millis (AUA)
Local physician: Dr. Arlene Sorhaindo
Child psychiatrist: Dr. Dewey Meyers (AUA)
Parent: Ms. Salma Crump (Founder of Aut2know)
Special needs teacher : Mr. Randy St. John
Highly functioning autistic: Mr. Frederick Parks (AUA student)
Director of Education (Ag.): Mr. Clare Browne
Special Education Officer: Ms. Joyann Harrigan
