About AUA PhychSIG & Rotary Club of Antigua Autism Awareness Walk
AUA PsychSIG & Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown has teamed up to promote Antigua's 2nd Autism Awareness Walk. The walk takes place on Saturday April 18th commencing from Michael's Mount at 5am sharp and concludes at Jabberwock beach. Autism Awareness pins will be available, contribution per pin is only EC$10. Funds raised at this event will assist in the following:
* The provision of teaching aids for children with developmental disorders at the Public Library.
* Initiation of a Diagnostic Clinic for Autism in Antigua and Barbuda
* Raise awareness of Autism and incidences of Autism in an effort to eradicate stigma
Transportation will be provided to Michael's Mount from campus, Lord Nelson and Sugar Mill.
