About Preparedness Educator

Purpose: Assist the Red Cross in delivering its mission by educating community members, organizations, and agencies on how to prevent and prepare for emergencies

Primary responsibilities:
• Distribute preparedness information packets at community events
• Promote and conduct Disaster Education presentations in the community, involving public speaking, booth support, or a combination of the two
• Continue training and education on a regular basis to keep presentation skills and knowledge base current
