About Family Contact Card Caseworker
Want to help new military families navigate life in the military? The American Red Cross is proactive in ensuring that new military families are aware of Red Cross programs and services and know what to do in the event of an emergency. We are looking for volunteers to give briefings at Military Entrance Processing Stations to help new military families have the resources they need to be successful. RESPONSIBILITIES
Introduce the Red Cross programs and services available to military families and service members at Military Entrance Processing Stations.
Coordinate with Military Entrance Processing Station leadership and volunteers.
Make Red Cross materials available at Military Entrance Processing Stations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Available 1 – 2 hours per week on Monday or Tuesday mornings in Lansing or Troy, MI
Enjoy giving presentations
Able to work with people from various backgrounds
Knowledge and experience with military, recommended
