About MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) Family Contact

Line of service: Services to Armed Forces

Purpose: The Red Cross provides support and services to military members and their families. Provide support as a family contact to recruits and families after MEPS processing and/or pre-deployment events.

Primary responsibilities:
*Email or phone military families to provide Red Cross preparedness information and referral services.
*May work from home; computer/internet access may be required.

Time Commitment/Availability: Flexible; hours vary

Complete the volunteer orientation modules. Concurrently, you will need to consent to a background check. When all that's completed, we'll call you for an intake interview, and place you in the need of ours that fits your interests and skills best!

Training: Training will be provided to all interested volunteers.
