Line of service: Services to Armed Forces
Purpose: Inform and education Red Cross partners, military members, and their families by conducting briefings at a variety of community venues.
Primary responsibilities:
*Help educate the community regarding Red Cross programs and services
*Answer question in public forums both small or large group formats
*Provide appropriate referrals
*Maintain professionalism and conduct
Time Commitment/Availability: Flexible; hours vary

Application Process
Apply to volunteer with the Red Cross at the following link: http://rdcrss.org/1jwIkp1 Then, enter your zip code, and when the next page appears, click “Michigan Region.” From there, choose “Prospective Adult Volunteer” (Or youth, if appropriate). Then, you can enter your personal information to apply to volunteer. You have the option of registering a facebook page at that point. Concurrently, you will need to consent to a background check. When all that's completed, we'll call you for an intake interview, and place you in the need of ours that fits your interests and skills best!
Training: Training will be provided to all interested volunteers.
