About Disaster Services Public Affairs

Assist the Red Cross in fulfilling its mission by creating and coordinating publicity information about disaster services offered to the public. This is great for those with special interests in disaster services, public affairs, communications and social media.

Application Process

Step 1: Please click on the link below and type in the appropriate zip code. http://www.redcross.org/support/volunteer/opportunities#step1
Step 2: Click on Michigan Region under the Apply Now with Your Local Red Cross.
Step 3: On the new page, click on the appropriate entry point- Adult, Youth, or Intern.
Step 4: Fill in the required information for access to Volunteer Connection, follow the prompts to apply.
Step 5: Once the application has been processed, you will be directed to Volunteer Connection to complete your intake steps. Each step must be completed in order to become a volunteer.
