Volunteer Management Intake Support volunteers assist the department with welcoming and processing new volunteer applications.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with the following tasks:

Welcome new volunteer applicants by phone and email

Assist with data-entry and management projects

Provide general office support to the Volunteer Management Department

Time Commitment:
Available to volunteer in the Red Cross office once a week for at least 4 hours. Day and time (morning or afternoon) is flexible.

Minimum three month commitment preferred.

Qualifications:
Strong oral communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Previous experience with customer service preferred

Length of Appointment
As long as mutually desired
Requirements:
Orientation to American Red Cross

Volunteer Connection Orientation

Additional training and support will be provided

Purpose:
To assist in intake and placement of new volunteers for the American Red Cross.

Completion of the application consists of registering for orientation, reading and agreeing to the code of conducts and policies of the Red Cross, and completion a background check.
