About Community Events and Parade Team Leader-Meridian

Organize logistics ( e.g., supplies and materials) for events such as festivals, health fairs, job fairs, parades, etc.

Arrange for transportation of materials and supplies to venue as necessary.

Lead volunteer teams;work with event organizers to assign volunteer duties.

Ensure efficient completion and clean-up of all activities.





Time Commitment:
As needed. Events are often arranged on short notice in response to local, national and international disasters.

Qualifications:

Previous special event experience.

Positive customer service attitute and ability to work with people at all levels.

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in materials and supplies; physical ability to be on one's feet for long periods of time.
