About Disaster Duty Officer Volunteer for American Red Cross

*American Red Cross Volunteer Opportunities*

Responsibilities:

Monitor and process after-hours calls received through pager system

Dispatch DAT members to events as necessary

Consult with DAT Members on scene regarding assistance as necessary

Activate/Load Client Assistance Cards according to Red Cross guidelines and protocols

Provide Shift Reports to Disaster Cycle Services Leadership on timely basis

Time Commitment: SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Monday - Friday Afterhours Shifts: 5pm-8am following morning

Monday - Friday Daytime Shifts: 8am-5pm

Saturday-Sunday Shifts: 8am-5pm and 5pm-8am following morning

Minimum of 1 shift per week on regularly scheduled basis

Training as required
