About Idaho State Suicide Prevention Advocacy Day

The event is sponsored by AFSP-Idaho and is a joint event with the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline, the Idaho Suicide Prevention Coalition, the The Speedy Foundation, the LiveWilder Foundation and SPAN-Idaho.

This event bring passionate mental health advocates together to:

• Share with state legislators why suicide prevention is important to YOU and to your community – advocates will share their personal stories with their legislators.

• Educate state legislators about the work being done in your community to prevent suicide – advocates will introduce legislators to the Idaho Chapter of AFSP and offer to be a resource for them throughout the year.

• Teach state legislators what more must be done to prevent suicide – advocates will speak in support of AFSP's state-level public policy priorities.

• Begin to build long-lasting relationships with leaders whose decisions impact our communities.

Light continental breakfast and a catered lunch will be provided. A more detailed agenda will be sent via email in the weeks leading up to the event. BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL DRESS IS REQUIRED. All attendees must be over the age of 18.

Please join us by lending your voice to #StopSuicide.
