About Luminaria Volunteer Team
The Luminaria Ceremony is a ceremony of remembrance and hope. It symbolizes a time to grieve for those we have lost, to reflect on our own cancer experience or that of those closest to us, and to find hope that tomorrow holds the promise of a cancer-free world. The Luminaria Volunteer Team will be responsible for distributing the Luminaria Bags around the walking trail as bags are sold than removing bags once the event is complete.

We need volunteers to help with:
Luminaria Volunteer Team

This task consist of filling each bag with a canned good, glow stick or candle tee then distributing bags around the walking route. Once the event is complete, the canned food would need to be collected, bags disposed of and or given to the family. The canned food will be delivered to a local food pantry. Volunteers will need to talk to Mrs Mott Ellis about the best time to arrive.
