About Look Good...Feel Better
Look Good...Feel Better program is a free, national public service program that helps women cancer patients improve their appearance and self-image by teaching them hands on beauty techniques to manage the appearance side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
We need volunteers to help with:
Assistant Group Facilitator
Volunteer beauty professionals lead small groups, usually about 6 to 10 women, through practical, hands-on experience. Women learn about makeup, skin care, nail care, and ways to deal with hair loss such as with wigs, turbans, and scarves. Each woman gets a free makeup kit to use during and after the workshop.
Volunteers (2/20)
Health Fair Facilitator
Attend health fairs to share ACS services.
