About Partners In Service: WE NEED YOU!!

Our volunteer opportunities are listed below, however these are currently our top priority:
1) We need volunteers for Thursday nights from 7:30 – 10 pm for about 12 kids ranging in ages 1 to 13 years old. Must be ready to assume control and organize their free time. We would like 3 volunteers.
2) We need volunteers for Childcare M – Th 9 am – 2 pm. We are looking for volunteers who are capable of working with toddlers and kids up to age 4.
3) We need volunteers for the Afterschool program M – F 3:30 – 5:30 pm. Volunteers should be at least high school age but we may consider middle schoolers.

--Top Chef – The number one requested volunteer service is cooking for a night. It is a wonderful treat for women living in the house when volunteers come to cook dinner. Just like you, they have busy days with work, school and kids and can use a “night off” every once in a while. Bring food in, cook in our kitchen...make it work for you knowing that it will definitely work for us!
--Thrift Sale – Please don't forget our neighborhood thrift sale when cleaning out your closets or updating your décor. We will gladly take your gently used items and turn them into profit for the house. Don't forget to shop there, too! There are great bargains to be had! (Every 2nd Saturday of the month, 9am – Noon).
--After-School & Teen Programs – We always need volunteers to help with our programs for children and youth. You don't need special skills or equipment, just bring your love of children, learning and play.
--Drivers Needed! – Many times our residents need rides to appointments or job interviews and sometimes our afterschool kids need rides to field trips. Can you help? If you're a licensed, insured driver, we need you!
--Target Gift Cards – We create a home-like environment by celebrating the important milestones in residents lives: birthday, graduations, special days. Rather than shop for gifts, we have found that residents feel more empowered by selecting what they need for themselves or for their children. Target gift cards in $20 amounts are our gift of choice and can always use them.
--Host a Fund Raiser! – We are always looking for new ways to increase our
supporters. We have the ideas and ability—you provide the friends!
--What’s Your Talent? – Maybe you have a special talent or ability and can share your gift with us! Let us know if you have a talent you would like to share!
